About Retire In Georgia

Georgia Lifestyles Publishing is a research based organization providing content rich, and easily accessible information to help people make the quality decision to retire in the state of Georgia. We provide this information via our Retire in Georgia Magazine and on www.retireingeorgia.com.   

We target active, affluent adults in the 45+ years of age market and provide them with detailed financial, quality of life, and places-to-live information for each of the 159 counties in Georgia.  sixty percent (60%) of our magazines are distributed outside the state of Georgia.

Rick Duke, Co-Founder
Rick brings a tremendous research background to the team and is a Principal Research Associate with the Georgia Institute of Technology.  His career with Tech spans almost 22 years and has focused on community economic development.  Rick's research on Healthcare, Eldercare, and Retirement Community Development in particular are highly sought after throughout Georgia and beyond.  His recent work includes acting as a catalyst for recognizing retiree attraction as a new community economic development strategy in many parts of Georgia.
 
Rick has served in several professional leadership roles including the International Economic Development Council’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee, Georgia Tech's Basic Economic Development Course Director, Session I Class Director with the Economic Development Institute at the University of Oklahoma, and as President of the Georgia Economic Developers Association.    Rick is a Certified Economic Developer and a Certified Economic Development Finance Professional.
 
Rick conceived the idea of Retire in Georgia Magazine after extensive research.  He recognized the need for such a product, and the rest, as they say, is history!
 
Pam Clark, Co-Founder
Pam brings over twenty years of technology and educational design experience to the team.  She is responsible for the development, creation, and promotion of the online aspect of the Retire in Georgia Magazine.   She also provides leadership in the business operations of the company and is actively involved in reviewing and guiding Retire in Georgia‘s strategic direction.          
 
Pam is also a co-founder of the Georgia Commerce Group/BuyGeorgia. BuyGeorgia.com provides a popular events & festivals calendar, the widely distributed bi-monthly Georgians Newsletter, and online advertising services. 
 
Pam holds a master’s degree in Education from Tennessee Technology University. Her career experience and background include corporate education, technical training development and research.  Pam is an active member of First Baptist Church of Atlanta.
 
Lynne Duke, Co-Founder
Lynne brings over twenty-five years of experience in the real estate and relocation industry. She has served in many leadership positions in several industry and economic development organizations. Lynne’s innovations and leadership let National Relocation and Real Estate Magazine recognize her as “One of the Most Powerful Women in Real Estate and Relocation”. 
 
Lynne has served on the advisory board for several industry magazines and is a published author. She also provides leadership in the business operations of the company and is actively involved in reviewing and guiding Retire in Georgia’s strategic direction. 
 
Jay Clark, Co-Founder
Jay brings nearly two decades of executive leadership, sales, operations management, and strategic planning to the team. He has served in senior executive roles for several publicly and privately held companies and is CEO and President of an advanced technology company in Atlanta, Georgia. He also serves on the board of directors for several companies in the USA and Southeast Asia.
 
Jay is a co-founder and owner of the Georgia Commerce Group, Inc. and holds a business management degree from Tennessee Technology University. Jay is an active member of First Baptist Church of Atlanta.
