2/8/2009 Food Fight Premieres in Atlanta

After a rave Florida premiere, the musical comedy "Food Fight" opened in Atlanta on February 6th at the 14th Street Playhouse. The production features four ladies in a women's-only gym who belt out hysterical song parodies about food, diets, exercise, plastic surgery and cooking shows. Backed by a live band, hit songs include: If I were a Size 2, Botox Queen, I Went to The Buffet Line, Lazy, The World's Greatest Ice Cream and You Gotta Have Some Sugar. The Playwright, Alan Jacobson, provides the audience with 90 minutes of enjoyment, sing and clap-alongs and fun for even the men in the audience. Performances in Atlanta are Wednesdays through Sunday at 8PM with Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2PM through Sunday, March 29. Atlanta is the first stop on a nationwide tour.
